Anna Blair’s background in musical theatre has made the transition into cabaret quite natural. She has studied under cabaret luminaries Amanda McBroom, Lina Koutrakos, Jason Graae, Alex Rybeck Steve Ross, Rick Jensen and St. Louis cabaret artist, Tim Schall. Anna captivated the audience at the St. Louis Cabaret Conference Showcases in 2007 and 2008.
Her breakout performance came in October 2008 when Anna shared the stage with the renowned Fran Landesman in a four-night run at The Gaslight Theater. Her solo debut was a tremendous success in February, 2009 and included an encore performance in April. Anna has performed in various cabarets since, including a solo show celebrating the lyrics on Fran Landesman in August.
Bob Becherer…notorious for his “Shameless Self Promotions” caught the theater bug when he started singing with the Gateway Men’s Chorus. Like so many of his cabaret friends, he’s had the distinct pleasure to study with cabaret talent’s Lina Koutrakos, Jason Graae, Amanda McBroom, Rick Jensen, Alex Rybeck as well as Saint Louis’s very own, Tim Schall. Bob first made his cabaret debut when he and good friend, Merry Keller shared the stage for a three night run at The Gaslight Theater. They ushered in holiday cheer with their Christmas Cabaret, “One December Evening”. Bob is now delighted to take the stage with Anna Blair and hopes that Merry is just a “little” jealous!
